SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL
CES, the apex body of Bal Bharati constituted the Academic Council in 1992 with Principals as members, with the objective to improve the existing academic standards while consolidating the existing system. The Council soon began to broaden its canvas by inculcating various innovations such as IT enabled classes, common text books, common pre-board exams, task forces, APAR proformas and suggestions for teaching training programmes to name a few.
Periodic demonstrations of the new educational aids/techniques are arranged for the Principals in order to enable them to make a proper selection. The biggest achievement of the Council has been to empower the teacher force, nurturing in them a sense of belonging and partnership. A large number of new projects as replacing text books with I-pads, having English language speaking skills, etc. are on the anvil. The amalgamation of classrooms with a judicious mix of traditional chalk and blackboard method and multi sensory learning experience with smart board and graphics is helping the students evolve.
