INTER UNIT INTERACTIVE PROGRAM
Students from BBPS RATNAGIRI and BBPS KHARGONE of class V interacted on virtual mode.Students introduced themselves and exchanged information about their regional cultures.
Students from BBPS GRH MARG and BBPS RATNAGIRI of class III interacted on virtual mode on 22 December 2021. The theme under discussion was historical places .The interaction enabled students to develop communication skills and confidence.
KNOWLEDGE FAIR 2022-23
The School Organised Knowledge Fair on 05/11/2022 in the school premises to exhibit innovative skills and outburst of talents. The fair aimed at inspiring each one to expand the acumen of acquiring knowledge, that formed an integral aspect of its vision :- “Enlightening the World”. The occasion was graced by the presence of eminent personalities like Mr. Asim Kumar Samanta, CEO, RGPPL, other dignitaries of RGPPL, Mrs. Pratibha Varale, Tehsildar Guhagar and Mr. Rushikant Bhatia , Resident Manager UPL. The grand event commenced with welcoming of the guests by the Principal, “Lighting of the Lamp”, followed by a welcome dance, address by the guests, and inauguration ceremony. Students from the Pre Primary grade till the Xth grade enthusiastically participated in preparing working models, charts and projects to explore every possible facet of learning and presented them with suave and finesse. All the teachers assisted the students to bring out the best in them and with unanimous efforts the event was a huge success.
GLOBAL COLLABORATIVE ACTIVITIES AT BBPS LUDHIANA
As the world becomes increasingly connected, so should our schools. The use of modern technology allows teachers and students to have better access to foreign concepts and theories enabling them to compare, and collaborate for an effective system. BBPS extends partnership with outstanding academic and other institutions across the globe to expand the student experience and tobuild cultural understanding, communication skills, knowledge and awareness of the wider world.
- ISA activity by British Council was conducted in 2019 wherein students created captivating 3D models of the monuments across the globe. These were displayed in a grand level exhibition that was appreciated by all the visitors.
- Learning French in Collaboration with Foreign University: The French Learning Certificate Exam was conducted under the esteemed patronage of Embassy of India, Paris in association with the ‘University of Grenoble, France’ on 17 And 19 March 2020. 71 students from Unit I and 40 students from Unit II took French exam out of which 12 students from Unit I and 1 student from Unit II were selected for the next round. The students brought laurels by grabbing top positions besides bagging first position in the city.
CES-VIDYA UTSAV 2023
The Child Education Society (Regd.), which is the apex body of 26 nation-wide Bal Bharati Public Schools, organized the first edition of ‘Vidya Utsav’ on Wednesday, 1 February 2023 at Kamani Auditorium, New Delhi. Conceptualized as an annual event, this unique initiative aims to celebrate the triumphs of the dynamic odyssey of the Child Education Society, felicitate its distinguished alumni, and yet again reinforce the vision and mission of the Child Education Society, with which it was set up in 1944.
The Society has always upheld the importance of value-based education as the panacea to all the ills that assail the global societies. Accordingly, the keynote speaker for the day, Shree Gaur Gopal Das Ji, renowned monk, lifestyle coach, motivational speaker and a member of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) enlightened the audience regarding ‘Global education rooted in Indian values and culture.’ Guruji opined that one must embrace the change, but not at the cost of culture and values, as long as these do not impede progress and further evolution.
Another highlight of the evening, a brilliant dance-drama, based on the life of Meerabai, by Bharatiya Kala Kendra held the audience spellbound. The soulful presentation highlighted the school’s commitment to reinforce the culture and heritage of the country, among its youth.
The august gathering included the eminent Ms. Nidhi Chibber, Chairperson, Central Board of Secondary Education; illustrious Mr Himanshu Gupta, Director, Education Department; Padmashree Shobha Deepak Singh, Director of Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra; distinguished Mr Nikhil Channa, the President of Child Education Society; Members of the Board of Management; Advisors to CES; Principals; Administrative heads; and staff members of the different units of Bal Bharati Public Schools across the country. Additionally, the illustrious Alumni members to be felicitated on the day, also graced the occasion.
The invigorating programme of the day commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the eminent guests and dignitaries attending the event. The choir of different Bal Bharati Schools jointly presented a melodious rendition, ‘Jagao mera des…’ befitting the occasion. A magnificent documentary showcasing the glorious saga of the consistent evolution of the CES and its excellence in provisioning value- based holistic quality education, held the audience mesmerized. Alumni of nation- wide Bal Bharati Public Schools, who have distinguished themselves and have contributed to the growth of their alma mater and community, at large, were also felicitated for their excellence.
On the occasion, an Art Exhibition, Reflections, had also been organized. A visual treat, it was an expression of the aesthetic sensibilities and skills of the buddingartist of the Bal Bharatis. The artwork conceptualized their understanding of the different SDGs in varied hues and showed their sensitivity towards global concerns. The President of the CES, in his Welcome address highlighted the role of the Society in Keeping the core values at the centre of its multifarious efforts to redefine education through 78-years of its existence.
At the end of the programme, an eloquent Vote of thanks, reinforcing the CES’s relentless commitment to value-based education was proposed by Mr L V Sehgal, Joint Secretary, CES, and Principal of Bal Bharati Public School, GRH Marg, ND. The audience were full of appreciation for the programme that highlighted the iconic legacy of Child Education Society built on the foundations of excellence, and trust that the 78-year-old Society has garnered from its valued stakeholders and the society, at large. The programme reinforced the zeal and commitment of the Child Education Society to continue making positive contributions to the ever evolving ‘eduspheres’ and nation-building by imparting value-based holistic quality education with a global perspective.
MY TREE CAMPAIGN
The Environment Club of BBPS GRHM conducted a tree plantation drive under My Trees Program, initiated by The Satsang Foundation, in the school campus on 6th August, 2022. The plantation of Champa shrubs was done by the Chief Guest Dr. (Lt. Gen.) CS Narayanan, the Satsang foundation members, Principal, teachers and students. Additionally, Mango saplings were planted as 'Memory Trees' to commemorate the contributions of our two iconic stalwarts i.e., illustrious erstwhile President of CES, late Shri LR Channa and the former eminent Advisor to CES, late Shri SK Bhattacharya to the phenomenal growth of the Child Education Society (CES).
FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMME
The ‘Financial Literacy Day’ was celebrated by BBPS, GRHM on 23 November 2022 to mark the culmination of a four-month long Financial Literacy Program for Girls,from July to October 2022. The Chief Guest for the day was Mr.Raman Kant Garg, Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Exemptions. Ms Nidhi Ahuja, a full time Social Worker (Vice President – Delhi State) at Sewa Bharati and also Director at Keshav Sehkari Bank was the guest of honour. Members of the Managing Committee also graced the event with their presence.
The event started with the lighting of lamp followed by a formal welcome of the dignatories. Ms Richa Gakhar- Convenor of the Financial Literacy Program for Girls gave an overview of the entire program- its objectives, scope and activities undertaken as part of the program. Glimpses of the program were shown through a PPT. The young and talented students of class III created a market scene to demonstrate the concept of money- identification of currency notes and its usage for exchange purposes. Erishka Grover of class IV F shared a poem on ‘Paison ka Mehtva’. An impressive and mesmerizing skit in consonance with the theme was presented by the girls of classes VI-VIII highlighting the importance of Financial Literacy for women. Mansi of X C presented a ‘Face Off’ on the topic ‘E-Business Vs Traditional Business’.
Prize winners of various events, held under the Financial Literacy Program during the year, were also felicitated in the ceremony.
The day concluded with the Chief Guest appreciating the school’s initiative in imparting Financial Literacy to girls and the impeccable flow of events. Vote of thanks was presented by Vice Principal, Ms Vinita Dhawan.
DIWALI MELA
BBPS, NB organized DEEPOTSAV on 21 Oct, 2022. The purpose of the event was to let people celebrate the joyous festival of Diwali in the best of spirits and enhance the feeling of harmony and brotherhood in the society. The Chief Guest of the event Ms. Nisha Bangare, Deputy Collector, M.P government motivated the students with her inspirational words.
CAREER COUNSELLING SESSIONS
The decision about career selection is very crucial in one’s life. Many students fail to select the right choice of career due to ignorance. To make the students familiar with various career opportunities, a career counseling session was organized by BBPS NTPC Jhanor for the students of classes X, XI and XII.

The terrain of inter-school collaboration is a great way of learning, containing a variety of different sorts of formal and informal collaborative action (sometimes a combination of both), as well as schools of various phases and types. Also, schools work together for a variety of reasons, on various timetables, and with diverse degrees of impact and sustainability.
The beneficial effects of inter-school collaboration on educators and students are the increased motivation to have productive conversations with their peers, knowledge mobilization, and a general change towards more learning-oriented and inquiry-based cultures in cooperating schools.
The collaboration of BBPS ROHINI WITH BBPS GADARWARA for class 5 students was designed with the same prospect of giving students exposure and helping them to interact on E-FOLIAGE, CARTE MENU, and NARRATHON & TRUSTED TALK.
WINTER CARNIVAL AT BBPS, BRIJ VIHAR
The much-awaited Winter Carnival was held at Bal Bharati Public School, Brij Vihar on Saturday, 10th December 2022.
The entire school ground was lined with an array of stalls – Games stalls put up by school students and different vendors showcasing their artistic and creative abilities through a variety of eco-friendly products. The carnival pulsated with scintillating music and a lively crowd. The carnival had something in store for everybody, be it children or adults. A very special segment catering to the interest of the kids included a variety of games and rides, selfie station, camel ride , Tambola, DJ, etc. were added attractions.
A bevy of edible delights , raffle draws and exciting prizes ensured an unforgettable time with friends and family.
The zest and zeal exhibited by an enthusiastic crowd of visitors and participants made the Winter carnival 2022 a memorable one.
COLLABORATION WITH INDONESIA
Global collaboration projects enable students to work together with peers around the world. These projects give students unparalleled opportunities to develop the knowledge and skills needed for global citizenship by allowing them to authentically communicate and collaborate with peers in other countries. Because global communication and collaboration are facilitated through various technologies, these projects also engage students in learning digital citizenship and Web literacy skills.
Generation Global had arranged a VC on ‘CIVIC PARTICIPATION’ where students from India and Indonesia came together to hold a discussion on the same.
Bal Bharati Public School students, Brij Vihar, participated in the Video Conference with the students of MAN 2 Padang School, Indonesia through the same platform.
The students participated enthusiastically in the VC and were very confident and rational in presenting their perspectives and notions on how civic participation is important for building a better society and how can we contribute to the same at individual and community level. They all pledged for making the society filled with sophisticated and responsible individuals.
COLLABORATION WITH TAIWAN
BBPS, Manesar collaborated with Dong Guang Elementary School, Kaohsiung, Taiwan for which various interactive sessions were held wherein the students of classes IV-VI of both the schools gave introductory greetings and shared their ideas on school atmosphere, food, festivals, musical instruments, nearest places of tourism, traditional clothes and major plants of both the countries.
SWASTI SHUBHARAMBH
On behalf of the Child Education Society (Regd.), BBPS GRHM organized a havan ceremony, Swasti Shubharambh, on Monday, 28 March 2022. The auspicious ceremony was held to celebrate new beginnings and herald the academic session, 2022-23, in nationwide Bal Bharati Public Schools, on a positive and propitious note. The spiritual leader, reverend Sh. Vijay Kumar Varma, fondly addressed by all, as ‘Baujee’ graced the event as the special guest. Other dignitaries at the event included - the Hon’ble President of CES, Mr Nikhil Channa; the Vice President, CES, Mr Kanishk Khullar; Ms Meenu Goswami, Academic Advisor, CES and Principal of BBPS, PP; Mr. LV Sehgal Principal, BBPS GR and Joint Secretary, CES; members of the Board of Management of CES; members of Managing Committees of different units of Bal Bharati Schools; Principals, Vice-Principals, and Headmistresses of
different BBPSs.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the eminent guests, amidst the melodious chanting of the shlokas by the Music department of BBPS, GR. Following the formal welcome of the guests, the havan ceremony was duly solemnized. Next, in the much-awaited spiritual discourse for the day, revered Baujee enlightened the rapt audience about the importance of values, daily prayers, and ethical conduct to lead a meaningful life and spread cheer, harmony, and goodness in the world, at large.The programme ended with a sumptuous lunch and distribution of Prasad amongst all.
