AIR MARSHAL MAKARAND BHASKAR RANADE AVSAM VM(G)
Air Marshal Makarand Bhaskar Ranade , an alumnus of the 1983 batch of Bal Bharati Public School GRH Marg, is the proud recipient of the Ati Vishist Seva Medal (AVSM), Vayu Sena Medal, Gallantry(VM).A graduate from the National Defence Academy and an alumnus of the National Defence College, New Delhi, Air Marshal Ranade was commissioned into the fighter stream of the Indian Air Force in the year 1986.
A fighter combat leader, Air Marshal has commanded two fighter bases; a MiG-21 Squadron and has been the Chief Operations Officer of a fighter base. He has served as faculty at Tactics and Air Combat Development Establishment (TACDE) - the weapons school of the Indian Air Force; and also at the Defence Services Staff College (DSSC).
Air Marshal Ranade was awarded the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) and Vayu Sena Medal (Gallantry) by the President of India. He has also been commended by Chief of the Air Staff and Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief, South Western Air Command.
Mr. MANISH MADAN
An alumnus of 1990 batch of BBPS, GRHM, Mr. Manish Madan is a seasoned business leader. After graduating from Bal Bharati Public School, GRHM Mr. Madan pursued his education in Electronics and Computer Applications, followed by an MBA in Management of Technology from Georgia Tech.
Serving as the Senior Vice President at Tech Mahindra, Mr. Madan has an experience of over 25 years in the IT industry.
Mr. Manish Madan has been instrumental in building IT-driven businesses and with his entrepreneurial acumen he has built and supported multiple tech-enabled startups. As an angel investor and mentor, Mr. Madan actively contributes to the startup ecosystem in Atlanta and India. He serves on the boards of multiple startups and remains deeply committed to mentorship, innovation, and the future of digital enterprise.
Mr. VIPIN VOHRA
Mr. Vipin Vohra, an alumnus of the 1972 batch of Bal Bharati Public School GRH Marg, is the distinguished Chairman of the Continental Carriers Group of Companies, exemplifying excellence in the freight forwarding industry. A graduate of Shri Ram College of Commerce, he seamlessly transitioned into the family business founded by his visionary father, the late Mr. T N Vohra.
Mr. Vipin Vohra's commitment to environmental responsibility and sustainable practices is evident in his establishment of the First Green Field Air Freight Station in Delhi, aligning with the Ministry of Civil Aviation policies in 2014. Mr. Vohra has served as the President of the Air Cargo Agents Association of India and the Co-Chairman of the Civil Aviation Committee at PHD Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. RAJESH MEHRA
An alumnus of the 1975 batch of Bal Bharati Public School GRH Marg, Mr. Mehra is a graduate from the prestigious Hindu College. Mr. Rajesh Mehra has been associated with Jaquar Group as Director & a Promoter since 1978. A winner of the prestigious E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year Award, he has been instrumental in growing the brand to its current stature as one of the fastest-growing bath brands in the world, with a presence in over 63 countries across Europe, the Middle East, Asia-Pacific, and Africa.
Under his guidance, Jaquar Foundation, an organization actively contributing to the social and economic development of underprivileged communities, is also doing a stellar job as it works together with others to help raise and meet the country's human development goals.
Mr. NEERAJ DHAWAN
Mr. Neeraj Dhawan, CEO and Director of Mega Grain Trading Company Private Limited, proudly traces his roots to Bal Bharati Public School GRH Marg, being an alumnus of the 1986 batch. With a rich background, he spearheads an export house and a global B2B Smart platform, fostering connections between buyers and sellers.
Mr. Neeraj attributes his success to the values of excellence and integrity instilled during his time at Bal Bharati, shaping his career trajectory. As a distinguished member of GAFTA, CICILS, FICCI, and IPGA, he serves as an International Broker of Agri Commodities. Mr. Neeraj is a seasoned entrepreneur and senior manager in international trade, specializing in indenting Agro Commodities.
Mr. MUKKUL AGARRWAL
An alumnus of 1996 batch of Bal Bharati Public School, Pitampura, Mr. Agarrwal is the Managing Partner of J. Mandal & Co LLP. A Chartered Accountant by profession, he is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He is also a member of the International Institute of Certified Forensic Investigation Professional.
Mr Mukul Agarrwal was awarded the MSME Excellence Award from the Government of India for his contribution in forensic and fraud investigation. He is a member of the Global Audit Committee of Inpact International (World’s 15th largest association of Independent Accounting Firms).
He is the Visiting faculty with Comptroller and Auditor General of India. He also theVisiting Faculty with Central Bureau of Investigation on Banking Frauds and Forensic Accounting. He is the Executive Member of Management Committee of ASSOCHAM. He renders his services as a Visiting faculty at many noteworthy institutes. Mr. Agarrwal is the Independent Director on board of Bright Solar Renewable Energy Private Limited (Mahindra and Mahindra Group Company). He is a member of ICAI Core Group for formation of Forensic Accounting and Investigation Standards and Guidance Notes.
Dr. HEMLATA WADHWA
Dr. Hemlata Wadhwa, an alumnus of 1998 batch of BBPS, Pitampura stands as a pioneering force in Medical Genetics and Fetal Medicine, earning prestigious recognitions including the International Travel Merit Fellowship from Care for Rare Foundation, Europe. A distinguished graduate of Maulana Azad Medical College with post-graduation in Paediatrics from Safdarjung Hospital, she further enhanced her expertise with an MBA.
Dr. Wadhwa has been instrumental in establishing departments of Medical Genetics and Fetal Medicine across renowned Delhi hospitals. As a Senior Consultant and Unit Head, she expertly manages departments spanning Medical Genetics, Fetal Medicine, Molecular Oncology, and Cancer Genomics. A core committee member for genetic experts at the Indian Academy of Paediatrics,Dr. Wadhwa dedicates herself to developing healthcare policies and advancing research in genetic disorders. A frequent speaker at global conferences, she continues to shape the future of Genetic Medicine.
Mr. ASHISH VERMA
An alumnus of 2004 batch of BBPS, Pitampura, Mr. Ashish Verma has carved an impressive path for himself in the Indian cinema, earning critical acclaim across multiple facets of filmmaking. His compelling supporting role in the film ‘Atrangi Re’ garnered him a prestigious nomination for ‘Best Actor in a Supporting Role’ at The Indian Film and Television Awards, while his collaborative work earned him the FOI Online Award nomination for ‘Best Performance in Ensemble Cast’.
Mr. Verma's versatility shines through many of his memorable performances. His talent extends to the digital medium, where he has delivered multiple powerful performances in varied web series.
Before gracing the screen, Mr. Ashish Verma honed his understanding of cinema as a casting director, leaving his mark on acclaimed films and further refined his craft at the prestigious Indian Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, building a strong foundation for his multifaceted career in the entertainment industry.
WING COMMANDER ABHISHEK MALHOTRA
An alumnus of the 2006 batch of Bal Bharati Public School Nishatpura, Wing Commander Abhishek Malhotra is a distinguished officer in the Indian Air Force. Wing Commander Malhotra pursued his B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (with Honors) from Lakshmi Narain College of Technology, Bhopal.
He is a highly skilled and versatile aviator, qualified on a variety of aircraft. Wing commander Abhishek Malhotra has been a part of various rescue and Evacuation operations. Notably, leading a 12 day mass casualty evacuation mission in Jammu & Kashmir where he saved 922 lives despite heavy stone pelting and severe damage to his helicopter. For his extraordinary courage and exemplary performance, he was awarded the prestigious Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief Commendation.
As a qualified Flying Instructor, he has mentored and trained numerous pilots, and he has had the honor of serving as Dhwaj Leader during Aero India event. Wing Commander Abhishek Malhotra is committed to community welfare and upliftment, supporting initiatives focused on providing education to underprivileged children. He also works closely with the Air Force Families Welfare Association on various initiatives aimed at empowering Air Force families.
Ms. ADITI OHRI
Ms. Aditi Ohri, an alumnus of the 2005 batch of Bal Bharati Public School Brij Vihar, is a passionate entrepreneur and digital growth strategist. Ms. Ohri holds a BTech degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, and an MBA in Marketing from IMT Ghaziabad. She has also pursued the prestigious Goldman Sachs Women in Leadership Program at IIM Bangalore.As an entrepreneur, combining her expertise in Martech, Marketing Automation, and Data-Driven Campaigns, Ms. Aditi has enabled businesses to scale sustainably and efficiently.
She is also an educator, regularly inspiring students at IIT Delhi and MBA colleges in the Delhi/NCR region, while also gaining recognition for her empowering TED Talk on “Girls Don’t Break Girls.”
Ms. Ohri has earned numerous prestigious awards, including the Niti Aayog & President of India - Digital Transformation Women of the Year (2018), AVP News - Rising Star of the Year Award, Network 18 - and the Women’s World Leadership Congress - Woman’s Achiever Award, to name a few.
Ms. AYUSHI GUDWANI
Ayushi Gudwani, an alumnus of Batch 2002, BBPS Pitampura, is the Founder & CEO of the Fable Street Life, a Premium Corporate Western Wear Company. She was the recipient of President’s Gold Medal Award for being an outstanding alumnus of BBPS Pitampura. Ms. Ayushi holds an Electronics Engineering degree from NSIT, Delhi, Department Rank 2, University Rank 6. She completed her MBA from IIM Calcutta (IIMC Silver medalist rank 2).
At McKinsey, she has led numerous engagements and clients across various sectors, providing strategic guidance to both McKinsey and client teams with diverse backgrounds and capabilities. Ms. Ayushi Gudwani founded Fable Street in September 2016, and the company was valued at 38 Million Dollars at its last fundraise round.
Ms. TAVISHI BEHAL PANDEY
Ms. Tavishi Behal Pandey an alumnus of Batch 2004 of BBPS, NOIDA, joined the Indian Foreign Service in the year 2011. She completed her Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, University of Delhi and a Masters & Degree in Psychology from IGNOU.
After her in-service training in Foreign Service Institute & LBSNAA, Ms. Tavishi was posted to the Embassy of India, Lisbon from 2013 to 2016 as Third/Second Secretary. Following that she was posted as Under Secretary, Myanmar in Ministry of External Affairs from 2016 to 2018. From the year 2019, she assumed the charge of Protector of Emigrants, Bihar and Jharkhand. Currently, she is holding the post of Regional Passport Officer, Patna with additional charge of Regional Director, Indian Council for Cultural Relations, Bihar and Jharkhand.
Mr. AMAN MITTAL
Mr Aman Mittal, an alumnus of 2006 Batch, from BBPS Rohini completed his bachelors (Computer Engineering) from the prestigious NSIT Delhi in 2010, and joined as a Business Consultant at Deloitte Consulting, Hyderabad . Thereafter, he founded a successful start up- Emerging Packaging Solutions. He cleared UPSC Civil Services Exam in 2015 with Rank 231, and chose the Indian Revenue Services and joined the batch of 2016. He completed training from LBSNAA Mussoorie and National Academy of Customs Indirect Taxes and Narcotics, Delhi and Mumbai before being posted as the Assistant Commissioner of GST Delhi . He went on deputation in the Dept. of Revenue as Officer on Special Duty in the GST Policy Wing of the Ministry of Finance and served in policy formation and significantly contributed in the implementation of E-invoice framework of GST.
Mr Mittal was promoted as Deputy Commissioner in Jan, 2021. Presently Mr Mittal is posted as Additional Private Secretary to Hon’ble Union Cabinet Minister of Commerce and Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles.He has contributed significantly to the GST Policy Wing of the Ministry of Finance. During six years of Govt. Service, Mr Mittal received 3 Certificates of Appreciation for important contributions towards public service. one notably being for providing Data Analytics for movement of Essential Goods during COVID, from Sh. Parameswaran Iyer, CEO Niti Ayog, former Secretary to Govt. of India.
Mr. TANVIR SINGH
Tanvir Singh, an alumnus of Batch 2006, BBPS Pitampura, is the Co-Founder of the Mooving Energy Network. He was the recipient of President’s Gold Medal Award for being an outstanding alumnus of BBPS Pitampura. Mr. has an Engineering degree in Computer Science from Mumbai University. He is a serial entrepreneur and a passionate environmentalist with over 14 years of experience in the Clean- Tech Sector.
He had a successful exit with his first startup, Solar Cube in the Renewable Sector (2012- 2015) to Amplus Solar. As part of the founding team member of Amplus Solar, they raised $150Mn in funding. His current startup Mooving was founded in the year 2020, which has over 5000 electric vehicles on its platform and is present in over 25 cities. He has raised $15Mn in Equity and Debt to fund Mooving till date. He has been awarded as one of the winners of Emobility+ Power 100 for 2023. (Emobility+ is a leading industry publication). He was the organizer for Project Udaan – an endeavor to educate underprivileged children. He was also the organizer for Project Soldiering Lives – a program for helping war widows.
Mr. ISHAAN CHHABRA
Ishaan Chhabra an alumnus of Batch 2007, BBPS Pitampura, is a Composer and Music Producer, based between Los Angeles and Mumbai. He was the recipient of the President’s Gold Medal Award for being an outstanding alumnus of BBPS Pitampura. He is a graduate in electronic music production and sound design from Berklee College of Music. Ishaan’s work ranges from feature films and documentaries to branded commercials. His first feature film as composer - Children of War (2014) released to critical success. In 2016, Ishaan composed for the movie Budhia Singh: Born to Run, which went on to receive the National Award for Best Children’s Film. In 2017, he scored Hansal Mehta’s biographical crime thriller Omertà, which received acclaim for its score and premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. His collaborative scoring work on HBO’s 2018 documentary ‘Momentum Generation’ earned a Sports Emmy Award nomination for Best Music Direction. In 2021, he co-composed for the Academy Award nominated documentary ‘Writing With Fire’.. In the mainstream Hindi film world, he scored for Imtiaz Ali’s romantic drama ‘Love Aaj Kal’ (2020) and Aanand L. Rai’s ‘Raksha Bandhan’ (2022). He has also composed commercials for Intel, History Channel, Renault, Škoda, 7 Up, Qube Digital among many. He was one of the three finalists for the Rolex Arts Initiative 2016-17, selected and mentored by Philip Glass. As sound designer for Boston-based Sonivox (A division of InMusic Brands), Ishaan created commercially successful virtual sound samples and instruments.
Ishaan also frequently works with Academy Award winning composer A.R. Rahman as music producer.
