Bal Bharati schools follow the syllabus as per the curriculum prescribed by NCERT/CBSE and guidelines issued by the National Curriculum Framework 2005. Presently the schools are in the process of incorporating suggestions of NEP 2020 and gearing up to meet the demands fully as per prescribed guidelines.
Pre - School & Pre Primary:
The Academic Council has developed its own Curriculum based on the time tested Montessori system duly modified from time to time to keep pace with changing times. Presently theme based curriculum and the concept of Learning Centres is also being used for effective, holistic and individualised transaction of curriculum.
Classes I-VIII:
The schools conduct assessments, term wise examinations/cycle and annual examinations ensuring that:
-Learning shifts away from rote methods.
-Holistic development is provided rather than being textbook centric.
-It connects knowledge to life outside the school.
-Examinations are more flexible and integrated into classroom life.
Classes IX-XII :
Schools conduct examinations as per the guidelines laid down by the CBSE to which they are affiliated.
